The Handmaid’s Tale audiobook read by Elisabeth Moss

Elisabeth Moss, star of the hit TV show The Handmaid’s Tale, has narrated the audiobook edition of Margaret Atwood’s classic novel.

Recording in between filming Season 3 of the TV show,, Elisabeth was joined in the narration by a number of other actors from The Handmaid’s Tale, who gave voice to characters who appear in the Historical Notes.

Ann Dowd, who plays Aunt Lydia, narrates the opening of the notes, with Amy Landecker and Bradley Whitford narrating the transcript that confirms the demise of Gilead but leaves the end of Offred’s story ambiguous.

'What a beautiful May day.'

'I never liked red. It's not my colour.'
