'Cricket' is officially the most-loved Bluey episode

In honour of five years of Bluey, fans voted on their favourite Bluey episode.

Can you believe that Bluey has been on television for five years already?

In honour of the milestone, ABC celebrated with ‘The Biggest Little Bluey Countdown’. Over 50,000 votes poured in, with fans sharing which Bluey episodes are their favourites.

So, which episode won? ‘Cricket’ took the #1 spot, with fans raving about the heartwarming episode, which centres around Rusty, who loves cricket. Quintessentially Australian, the episode evokes memories for any backyard cricket player: the endless practising, the love of the game, the joy of a shared family hobby. It’s easy to understand why so many Bluey fans love the episode.

And luckily, the book version is coming out on 5 December 2023, to enjoy the story in a new way.
