Candice Fox is the middle child of a large, eccentric family from Sydney’s western suburbs composed of half-, adopted and pseudo siblings. The daughter of a parole officer and an enthusiastic foster-carer, Candice spent her childhood listening around corners to tales of violence, madness and evil as her father relayed his work stories to her mother and older brothers. She turned to writing stories as a means to escape the chaos of her everyday life.

Since 2013, she has published five books, won multiple awards and co-written with the world's highest selling thriller author. Today she will be discussing her career, her path to publishing and her newest book CRIMSON LAKE, which has been praised by international bestsellers Lee Child, James Patterson and Harlan Coben, with television rights already sold.

This is her first visit to Margaret River.
